Coach Education General Information

The Australian Calisthenic Federation (ACF) conducts a number of nationally accredited coach education programs.

These programs include:

  • The national Cadet Program
  • The Level One Coaching Program
  • The Level Two Coaching Program
  • Regular coach education modules for the purposes of updating and accreditation maintenance

These programs and update modules are conducted at a State/Territory level with individual States/Territories responsible for the delivery and organization of the programs. The Coach Education Committee in Victoria is responsible for conducting these programs.

All ACF Coaching programs are continually being revised and approved by the Australian Calisthenic Federation Coaching Committee (ACFCC) & Australian Sports Commission (ASC).

We're continually looking at different ways of introducing new ideas, as well as refresher courses to keep coaches abreast with calisthenics and its changing faces. Feel free to speak to a Co-coordinator or member of the Coach Education Committee, if you have any ideas or expertise to offer. Better still, become involved and join the Coach Education Team.

Presenters for our Coaching programs are accredited with update points. You may consider becoming a Presenter, Assessor, or Mentor. Please contact the Coach Education Convenor if you would like to be involved.

All course applications must be made in writing to the appropriate Co-coordinator and a stamped, self-addressed, business-size envelope must accompany correspondence.

It is advisable for you to keep a copy of all correspondence.
