Please be aware that ALL cadets have 12 months in which to obtain their Level 1 Qualifications from the date they begin the Level 1 course.  As our Assessors are predominantly Coaches, the assessment MUST be arranged around THEIR availability.  Cadets that complete the February course are given preference over Cadets that complete the Mid Year course.  This is due to the fact that Mid Year Cadets may not be ‘teaching’ items, but rather ‘Fine Tuning’ for competitions and this gives the Mid Year Cadets a better chance in gaining the required 40 hours practical coaching.  Also note that unless ALL Paperwork has been received into the VCCA office, your assessment WILL not take place.  Thank you for your understanding.

Paperwork required:

  • Assessing Record
  • Attendance Record
  • Record of Practical Coaching
  • 40 hours Log sheet
  • Current First Aid Certificate (or Nursing Reg)
  • Current Working With Children Check (or VIT)
